Curry Up Now, one of the fastest-growing Indian street food brands in the country, is opening its first Alabama location near UAB this June, and they’re bringing plenty of spice to the Magic City!

This dish is where Old Delhi meets Alabama BBQ! Its smoked chicken folded into a lighter, creamier butter sauce is inspired by Alabama white sauce while staying rooted in North Indian flavors. Translation: Birmingham is getting something no other Curry Up Now location has! 

Founder Akash Kapoor says the team didn’t want to “copy and paste another store,” they wanted a menu item that actually fit Birmingham’s food culture.

With halal meats, tikka masala burritos, naughty naan, deconstructed samosas, and street-food energy built from a former food truck empire, this opening has all the ingredients for a great local story. Curry Up Now is located at 425 20th Street South in Birmingham, Alabama.
