The Neighborhood Brew- Meet, Greet, Sip & Eat!

I can barely contain my excitement! If you are driving anywhere near the Valleydale / Caldwell Mill area you are bound to see all of the signs leading you like breadcrumbs to the new kid on the block. The Neighborhood Brew is now on my list of favorite places. Everything from the warm welcome to the warm latte made me realize that this would be my new home away from home. This is one of the best places I've visited since starting this site. Although the headliners are the wines, coffee, coffee drinks and smoothies, they do offer light menu items such as ham, beef, and turkey roll ups, small salads, chicken salad, muffins, and pastries, flat breads, hummus, salsa and possibly other munchies. The fresh salads & roll-ups are not made in house, but supplied by "What's for Supper/ Edgewood Catering."
Atmosphere: This establishment has a very modern look. A huge chalkboard menu  is mounted up on the wall as you enter the front door. The bar is very sleek and trendy. There is a television and soft contemporary music playing overhead. There are also several cozy chairs and sitting areas along with table seating. The most coveted spot in the building is a  sitting area containing a faux fireplace/ heater positioned in front of a feature wall. This is definitely a place fit for studying, meeting or just going to have a warm or cold glass of any variety of your favorite brew. Just right for that afternoon or evening escape for you or a group of friends. You are welcome to bring your laptop or a newspaper.
What I had: A nice, warm and creamy latte, a spinach apple salad topped with Granny Smith apple slices, golden raisins & cashews. The salad dressing was comprised of apple cider vinegar, light sugar with a touch of a mystery seasoning blend.
The Staff: Amazing!!!!!!
Prices: Extremely reasonable and competitive. My tab was $7.36. YES! A great reason to go back.
On a scale of 1 to 10, I give The Neighborhood Brew a rating of 9.9
